Controls are straightforward, the display is easy to read, and the Segway Mobility App lets you adjust the scooter as your confidence grows.

  • Up to 20 mph top speed, where permitted by law.
  • Up to 25 miles of range in ECO mode.
  • Front dual coil suspension to take the edge off bumps.
  • SegRide Stability Enhancement System and Traction Control System.
  • Apple Find My support to help you locate your scooter.

Built for Comfort and Confidence

Front dual coil suspension and 10-inch tubeless tires

Two coil springs at the front fork help absorb cracks, bumps and uneven pavement, so the ride feels smoother and more controlled. The 10-inch tubeless tires round out a stable, comfortable ride.

SegRide stability technology

SegRide is Segway’s set of ride-control features. The Stability Enhancement System uses a wider front-wheel position and a 65 mm trail to help the scooter track straight, even at higher speeds or on uneven roads. A curved, ergonomic handlebar supports a natural grip and a relaxed riding posture.

The Traction Control System (TCS) helps reduce wheel slip by adjusting motor output when traction is limited. TCS is off by default and can be turned on in the Segway Mobility App.

Power and Range for Everyday Trips

An 800 W max-power motor (400 W nominal) provides the power for everyday riding and is rated for slopes of up to about 18%. The 276 Wh battery is rated for the following range in each mode:

ModeTop speedRange
ECO9 mphUp to 25 miles
DRIVE15 mphUp to 17 miles
SPORT20 mphUp to 11 miles

Segway measures range at the top speed of each mode and stops the test when speed drops to 60% of that maximum, so the numbers reflect usable range. Your range will vary with rider weight, speed, terrain, temperature and tire pressure. A full charge takes about 5.5 hours.

Practical Details for Everyday Riding

The E3 Go folds quickly for storage in a closet, an entryway or a car trunk. Folded, it measures about 49.3 × 22.7 × 18 inches. At about 46.7 lbs, it is easy to roll and store, though you may want help carrying it up long flights of stairs.

  • Braking: a front drum brake works with a rear electronic brake.
